国际高中英国课程项目专业课程设置Curriculum

大学英语：
更大的课程模块。注重提高学生英语能力，并具备在英国接受高等教育的能力。本课程除了培养学生英语听说读写能力，还教授学生学术词汇，英国文化和怎样有力表达他们自己的观点。

English for Academic Purposes:
This is the largest module of the course; EAP focuses on developing thelanguage skills needed to meet the challenges of tertiary education in theUK. In addition to reading, writing, listening and speaking, students learnacademic vocabulary, how to persuasively present their ideas and aboutBritish culture.

数学：
以英国数学课程标准为基础，本课程旨在拓展学生多元化的学术与职业训练的数学知识，包括微积分学、统计学、概率学。注重课堂外的实际应用能力，某些项目会锻炼学生独立研究工作的能力。

Mathematics：
Modelled on the British mathematics curriculum, we broaden the student’s knowledge ofmathematics and mathematics in different academic and vocational disciplines.A wide range of topics are covered including calculus, statistics andprobability. Special emphasis is also placed on the practical applications ofmathematics outside of the classroom and students will be expected to conductindependent research and field work.

经济与商业：
本模块主要培养学生对国际商务的理解力，从小型企业到国际企业集团，让学生充分了解经济与商业发展趋势。课程包括对企业文化，市场和投资。学生将进行案例写作与研究，同时提交论文。

Business Studies：
This module develops a sound understanding of the world of business fromsmall businesses to international conglomerates. Included are corporateculture, marketing and investments. During the course students will beexpected to write and research case studies as well as submit essays.

科学：
课程范围为英国本地学校所教授的科学知识。学生在此科目中能够获得从健康,疾病到原子焊接，从环境到太阳系统等的跨学科的知识。学生们通过对不同课题的研究，提高他们独立调查和分析的能力。

Science:
Covering British curriculum science, students gain knowledge across a broadrange of subjects, from health and disease to atoms and bonding, theenvironment and the solar system. They will be expected to undertake researchon various topics to improve their independent investigative and analyticalabilities.

人文：
本科目在介绍英国当地学校所教授的关于英国的历史和地理概况基础上，教授学生新的知识和培养学生的实际操作能力，通过课程的学习，学生不仅能够理解经济和社会的发展状况，还能够获得专业领域的知识，比如：看地图，地图数据知识。通过学习20世纪的历史，学生能够独立找出原始资料，并为未来的研究学习打基础

Humanities:
based on both UK school curriculum history and geography, students aretaught new knowledge and skills. They will understand economic and socialdevelopment, as well as acquiring proficiency in areas such as map readingand producing statistics. Twentieth century world history gears them toindependently find and quantify source material, preparing them for futureresearch in any field.

学习技能：

该学科课程使学生能够逐步与大学课程接轨。该课程包括演讲技巧研讨会，论文写作和引用规则，有效记笔记，学习计划，以及论文知识产权保护问题。并且该学科还为学生提供与大学学习接轨的建议。

Study skills:
Students are rigorously prepared for the step up to university-leveleducation. The course includes seminars on presentation skills, academicwriting and referencing, effective note taking, study plans and issues likethe avoidance of plagiarism and copyright. Careers advice is also provided toensure students are well matched with their subjects and universities.
